Michael Levin is a partner of the Firm who has acquired vast and significant experience in all facets of commercial and civil litigation; corporate transactional work; no-fault law and real estate transactions/litigation. Mr. Levin's work has allowed him to successfully prosecute and defend all manners of contract disputes; shareholder disputes; corporate dissolution; ERISA/insurance litigation; copyright infringement; and mortgage fraud. Litigation experiences have marked his guidance of individuals seeking to create new business entities allowing him to anticipate potential shareholder disputes and/or internal challenges. These frank conversations have allowed him to foment a close working relationship with new corporate entities and/or those seeking to create and execute other internal corporate documentation.
Mr. Levin has further protected the rights of medical providers performing no-fault work. His work has allowed Medical Providers to recover hundreds of thousands of dollars in fees for outstanding medical bills that had been arbitrarily and/or improperly denied them by insurance carriers. Mr. Levin's work with medical providers extends to both State and Federal Litigation in which he seeks the recovery of appropriate fees from private insurance companies and welfare funds for the performance of medical services. Mr. Levin has also represented many clients in real estate transactional work (both commercial and residential) and in real estate litigation. His varied litigation and transactional experience allows Mr. Levin to provide sound and meaningful counsel to his clients.
While attending law school, Mr. Levin served as a law clerk to the Honorable Ute Wolff Lally, then a Justice of the District Court, Nassau County, and later a Justice of the Supreme Court, Nassau County.
